Random

^Amelia Island, one of the most boring beaches ever to exist, literally filled with the elderly. This was after a storm, and all of this salty foam came up onto the beach. i don't know these people and they're not posing. i like the composition of this photograph, with the two front people looking in different ways, and the two children in the back ground standing together, single file, it seems like they are watching something very ominous out at sea. the man carrying his wake board seems to be struggling against strong wind, but the two children standing together seem like an impenetrable force that the storm can not break.

Folly Beach '08

^wide angle shots.

^i took this as soon as i woke up one morning. the contrasting of cools and darks is really appealing to me, and every time i look at this picture it reminds me of the coolness of fall.

^this is such a generic shot, but focus is something i always like to play with. and after looking at it for awhile, i like the faint red in the back ground, it really helps connect this photo with the rest of the series.
^the reds in this picture are obviously appealing to the eye, especially with the grey of the rest of the picture. the composition in this picture is what i really like about it though,,,

^this is the only edited photo...
i don't really like it.
These are all such a high resolution that they look blurry.,, they're really not, i just don't have an editing system that allows me to make the resolution smaller.
These were shot on the Folly Beach walkabout trip.

Ireland '08

^these are Film, B&W. Too Dark, will be reprinted, and the scanner has made them look slightly awkward.. The two horses in these photos are a Mother horse and her foal. they weren't wild horses, but they were kept in a field far away from their owner's house. i spent about an hour with about four or five of these horses, their field had one of the oldest and original churches built on it, centered around an ancient well.

^the last three photographs were taken at St. Bridgid's Well, outside of Kildare.
^these are apartments in the town of Kildare
^these two were shot while hiking the Wicklow Way trails in Glendalough
^these were shot on our way to the Aran Islands

^this wire has wool tangled on it. In Ireland, especially the Aran Islands, the stray wool that comes off of the sheep floats around like lost souls.
^this was shot off of the cliffs at DĂșn Aonghasa.

^These were all shot on the Aran Islands, off the west coast of Ireland
These were taken in Ireland the summer of 2008
